We believe that Jesus’ words are not optional.
They are essential. They are our life.
Join us on a weekly journey through the Commands of Christ.
Why the Commands of Christ?
Because they are at the heart of the Great Commission. Jesus’ told His disciples to go into all nations, “teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you . . .” — Matthew 28:18-20
The Commands of Christ are not just a to-do list; they are an invitation to a relationship with God Himself. We exist to fuel that relationship among individuals, families, and all nations of the earth.

In this episode, we consider Christ’s command to “honor thy father and mother” through the life of evangelist D.L. Moody. Though God used Moody to reach millions with the gospel, his devotion to Christ was most clearly seen in the ordinary faithfulness of his daily life—his love for his family, his care for his widowed mother, and his commitment to living out the truths he preached.
Christ’s Commands in Action: C.T. Studd
As we reflect on C.T. Studd's wholehearted surrender and passion for reaching the lost, we are reminded that only what is done for Christ will last. Together, we are encouraged to rest in Christ, and faithfully embrace His calling, trusting that a life lived for His glory is never wasted.
Christ’s Commands in Action: Ira Sankey
From a Civil War encounter spared by a hymn to countless opportunities to follow the Lord’s leading we are reminded, through the story of Ira Sankey, that God works powerfully through believers who cultivate intimacy with Christ and respond in faithful obedience.
Christ’s Commands in Action: Darlene Deibler Rose
In this message, we see through the life of Darlene Deibler Rose that Christ’s command to “fear not” calls us to trust the Lord more than our circumstances, feelings, or fears (Matthew 10:28). From the mission field of New Guinea to imprisonment under the Japanese during World War II, Darlene learned that Jesus could never be locked out, even from a death-row cell.
The Home Discipleship Network
We love the Word of God. And we love to guide people to God’s Word. We believe that as people begin to personally experience the abundant life of Christ through His Word, they will begin to display and declare that life to those around them.
Through providing resources and events, we desire to build the body of Christ by encouraging and challenging believers to live out the commands of Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit living within them.
