The command Ask, Seek and Knock reveals the depths of God’s love as our Heavenly Father towards us. He wants us to come to Him and ask! However, Jesus gives a parable in Luke 11:5-11 that unlocks an even greater dimension to this exciting command… a dimension of meeting the needs of others!
God is a Father Who is good and does good. In commanding us to ask, seek and knock, He is not trying to dangle a carrot in front of us or make things complicated for us. It is actually an invitation to draw closer in our relationship and communion with Him. Will we respond to this invitation and pursue intimacy with Him?
