Even if we can’t personally meet a need, we can pray for God to send laborers to meet it! In this episode Nate and Gabe exhort us to take time to allow God to share His heart of love and compassion for others with us. How is God stirring your heart? Has He given you a burden for a specific area? As He moves on your heart, pray!
Our natural response when we see needs is usually to summon our human energy and attempt to “do something” to meet the need. But we will see in this command that the first thing we are instructed to do is to “pray to the Lord of the harvest.” As we pray, the Lord is not only able to give us His heart and perspective, but our prayers also enable Him to move in people and circumstances in ways that we never could!
